In the first two months of 2024, Rosseti South increased the capacity provided to new customers 1.7 times

In January-February 2024, Rosseti South provided 62.3 MW of capacity to new customers, which is 1.7 times as much as in the same period last year. The company has implemented almost 2 thousand grid connection contracts (14% growth).
The most of work to increase capacity and connect new customers was performed in Rostov region. Rostovenergo, a branch of Rosseti South, implemented over 850 contracts by providing 43.2 MW of capacity (a 1.9-time growth compared to January-February 2023). 225 customers in Volgograd region were connected to the power grid, and they are provided with 8.3 MW of capacity. 740 applicants received more than 9.2 MW in Astrakhan region. Almost 170 new customers were connected in the Republic of Kalmykia with an output capacity of more than 1.5 MW.
Among the socially significant facilities that have been electrified since the beginning of the year there are a medical institution in Astrakhan region, a school in Volgograd region, a cultural center and a polyclinic in Rostov region.
In the first two months of 2024, regional units of Rosseti South have signed almost 1.7 thousand new connection contracts with a total declared capacity of more than 60 MW.
