Rosseti South recovered more than 1 billion rubles of debt and fines through court proceedings in 2023

As a result of the claims work in 2023, Rosseti South received over 1 billion rubles of the principal debt for consumed electricity and penalties.
Energy consumers paid 706.2 million rubles according to the submitted executive writs. Another 26.8 million rubles were transferred to the accounts of the energy company before the submission of executive writs for collection. 277.3 million rubles were paid to the company during the litigation settlement.
Rosseti South also received 255 executive writs to collect debt of 642,2 million rubles for electricity transmission services and penalties. Consumers in Rostov region account for 89% of this amount, 7.5% - in Astrakhan region, and 3.5% - in Volgograd region.
Last year, the company sent almost 1.4 thousand claims to the court for recovery of 1.4 billion rubles. At the moment, over 520 claims are already pending in courts of various instances.
According to Rosseti South, claims work is still one of the most effective ways to influence unscrupulous customers, who, by their non-payments, jeopardize the implementation of production programs and reliable energy supply in the regions.
